If deciding between Value and Moderate Resorts go with Value, as the have the same perks, Unless you are particular about themeing and/or you plan to enjoy sit-down dining at your resort, as most Value resorts only have food courts. It doesn’t matter which resort you’re staying in though, you are welcome in all the restaurants at World Disney World.
If you’re at WDW during the Epcot during the Food & Wine Festival, use credits at the booths to get fabulous food that can be almost meal sized for a single Snack credit. Similarly, food items at Animal Kingdom can be almost entree size.
Not everyone likes the taste of Orlando water. If you plan to save money by bringing refillable water bottles, you might consider bringing things to flavor your water.
