Lately, I have been riding my bicycle along Harlem River Park which hugs the northeastern border of Manhattan with beautiful views of the East River.Â
The park is home to several beautiful public art installations, and I recently photographed several of them to share with you.
The first three series below were created by local school kids in coordination with the nonprofit Creative Art Works, whose mission is to “improve the lives of under-resourced New York City youth through the arts”. According to their website, they serve thousands of young people each year through in-school and after school classes, community art-making events, and youth employment creating large-scale public art.Â
